Lidar/Laser scanning news from overseas?

I noticed that the ELMF (European Lidar mapping Forum) event is in the Calendar for next month (The Hague, Netherlands)...possibly a cheap easyjet flight away. Will anyone be reporting back from this?

I understand Leica are potentially more 'behind' one of the vehicle based mobile mapping systems operating back in the homeland and I am starting to lose count of the mobile systems that are cropping up weekly.

Now that point clouds are being broght into autocad, I imagine larger and larger datasets will become less 'eyebrow raising' and bulk processing techniques will appear seemingly less 'far removed'. SL
